Rare Antique French Silk Ribbon "Double Bonnet"
This is an extremely Rare gorgeous French lace doll bonnet with rows of silk ribbons, that has the original ecru silk cap with it. The silk cap is placed on first, to be used as a liner, with silk ribbons to keep it secured. Then the fabulous lace bonnet goes on top, to perfect the "look." making the bonnet more opaque. Superb for French children such as a Jumeau, Steiner or Bru, as well as German character children or of course on your favorite rare baby. It's very unusual to find these little silk bonnet liners and this set is stunning! It would fit about a 12"-13" head circumference.
