This phenomenal EXTREMELY EARLY WRESTLER TYPE All Bisque is an incredible 10" in height and has many distinguishable features, one of which is her CLOSED mouth. Her face AND her body are equally magnificent.
The sculpting of her body is as dramatic and rare as her height and girth. And one should not miss the stunning pink shading and blushing on her hands, her knees, her nipples, and her bellybutton. Another not to be over looked detail are her fabulous bootines. which are molded and painted in sharply contrasting colors of orange and black. Her high white stockings are textured and encircled in a garter belt, with yet another vibrant color of blue! Her hands are superbly modeled. PERFECT elegant fingers with outlined fingernails. But it is of course her face which makes her the true stand-out, as it truly is a work of art, superbly sculpted as is her body, which is what makes her an exceptional doll. It is exceptional to find an All Bisque with all of these qualities. She has an indecipherable professional repair covering a tiny chip on the crook of her elbow that had been done many many years ago, only seen under a magnifying glass
She has that extremely early white bisque with a light dewy sheen that we all love, with just a sheer blushing to her cheeks. And a very rare detail which is an excellent observation linking her to her early heritage, is that superb "bulgy" kid lined swivel neck that the early Kestners are so beloved and desired for. This is a perfect addition for her wonderful, round, Fat face. SO fat, she has a glorious "double chin". Her eyebrows are wonderfully feathery, and her glass eyes are absolutely perfectly "even" and in a positively GORGEOUS cornflower blue color with lush and evenly painted upper and lower lashes. She has a small and perfectly painted closed mouth, perfectly "inner lined" with a darker accentuating color, then enhanced with a darker matching lining on the outside. SO many details draw attention to this choice and rare All Bisque, and how the artist wanted you to perceive this child. For example, all the indentations coming from the corners of her mouth, which further accentuates the fullness of her face, and somehow add to the perception of sweetness and delicate nature of this child. Her nose is delicate. aquiline and so feminine.
Her very long, and very thick EXTRAVAGANT mohair wig is original and matches her eyebrows perfectly. And her factory original "schoolgirl" frock, and original underthings, is just the perfect attire, accompanied by a velvet tam with fur trim. And she comes with an extra charming "school girl" dress. She is a choice All Bisque in an extraordinarily gifted size. NOT to be over looked!
