Gorgeous and Extremely Desirable, this is a French "posy holder" with a double sided Beveled mirror! It is 5" in length to the tip of the ivory handle, with the original chain and brass ring. This heavier beautiful chain is attached to a very delicate chain encircling and securing it to the ivory handle.
It is exquisitely decorated with several highly embossed and decorated bands of gold and fantastic floral decorations which are attached separately under each Beverled mirror. All this is further enhanced by an emerald green "jewel". In between each mirror, to hold the flowers securely on each side, are fantastically molded large gold leaves, applied separately, with even the tips intact!
This piece looks stunning when filled with silk or fine tiny velvet flowers and placed in the hands or arms of a French fashion, or any beautiful doll in your collection. This is the most extraordinary example of this Rare accessory I have ever seen. For those of you who enjoy fine French accoutrements, and "dressing up" your dolls, this is quite a coup.
