FINEST FRENCH FASHION LEATHER TRAVELING CASE
This is an elegant French leather traveling case in the shape of a hatbox. It was a very chic accessory for the ladies of the time and therefore one that was highly admired. It is made of beautiful soft leather, with a leather "pull" on one side, and two brass latches.
On the bottom, there is a formed platform to allow it to "sit" and a marvelous polished strap with a separate buckle to make sure the contents remain inside and stable!
The inside is lined with silk in a beautiful paisley pattern, with a pocket on both sides. This really is a fantastic VERY luxurious and deluxe piece!
