MINT AND GORGEOUS FRENCH ALL BISQUE POLICHINELLE
This is a very choice example of a 5" All Bisque Antique French lad in a sensational all original tri-color "raw" silk and lace ensemble in sumptuous colors of pale pink and pale "French green" with exquisite use of fancy gold threading and trimming as accents. His outfit is bedazzled with the French Polichinelle "humps" both in the front and the back, typically used when dressing all such antiqu doll examples, and an EXTRAORDINARY STUNNING matching over-sized hat!
He has a bisque swivel head and long thin, ultra-graceful jointed arms and legs, with beautifully carved separate fingers, and on his legs, high molded and painted stockings and fabulous tiny double-strapped black pointed and heeled shoes.
His very pale thick blonde mohair wig is original and in the pristine original extravagant set, with an abundance of tiny waves and curls. His bisque is very pale and creamy with no kiln dirt or rubs, and of course in perfect condition with the absence of any repairs. GORGEOUS BIG cobalt blue almond shaped paperweight eyes, with LONG and LUSH upper and lower lashes, beautifully painted pale eyebrows, and a fantastic pale peach/pink VERY PLUMP closed mouth.
He is in such choice condition that he still carries his "walking stick" attached to his ensemble with all the original antique silk ribbons encircling it! An outstanding and most divine example.
