9" Fantastic German character made by Simon and Halbig, with rich milk chocolate brown BAKED-IN bisque, and extraordinary ethnic features. Original gorgeous auburn color mohair curly wig with matching teeny pale blue silk ribbons intertwined throughout her hair. that match her dress. Adorable school-girl type of pastel blue plaid dress, which is accentuated by a feathery soft multi-layered lace collar with sleeves and hem which are also primped in lace. Her antique underwear consists of a full length slip and pantaloons also accented with wonderful lace. She has high stockings and FABULOUS original two-tone high leather boots with the original buttons still intact! And the bonnet is just SO fabulous in the way that it not only frames her face but pulls everything together with it's glorious array of multi-colored silk flowers and matching blue silk ribbon ties
The molding and sculpting on Gina is superb. The accent lines above and below her eyes are phenomenal, as is the beautifully proportioned wider nose. And her closed lips are the most enchanting perfect color to enhance the color of her bisque.
She is on a fully jointed perfectly color matched original body with early straight wrists. This is a VERY rare and desirable character from the extremely elusive 1300 series of character from this prestigious firm. This brown ethnic version of the 1303 mold is almost NEVER seen! Gina is one VERY special child!
