Georgeous size 1 rare French Paris Bebe made by Jumeau
Rather than being totally redundant in the explanation of the history of this seriously RARE 9.5" size "1" Character face French Bebe made by the French firm of Jumeau, after their victory in a lawsuit with the firm of Danel et Cie, I would suggest you read the description of this doll's stunning sister, which is #21 on this site.
The obvious difference between this child, Emmanuelle, and her sister, is that this stunning size one Paris Bebe has BROWN paperweight eyes. Other than that, she is marked the same way as her blue eyed sister, with the red stamp of Paris Bebe/Tete Depose'/1 and as well, has an incised number "1."
She has the same VERY RARE character expression used by Jumeau, to show the firm of Danel et Cie, that they were capable of making THEIR version of a Paris Bebe' look entirely different. She has sensational VERY pale bisque, and a fabulous sensuous closed very pale peachy colored fully lined mouth. Her BIG smoldering golden brown eyes are lined in black liner, and she has beautiful feathery soft multi stroked brows, and VERY thick upper and lower lashes.
Of course her ensemble is different from her sister's, totally original in an ultra-gorgeous pale shade of pink heavy silk dress, with a darker pink shade used in a wide pleated sash around her waist, that ends in a HUGE bow in back, (don't miss the picture), lots of lace, an outrageous original "to die for" Jumeau hat of finest straw completely lined with matching pale pink silk, with marvelous pleats all around the over-sized brim, then surrounded yet again with wide criss-crossed and crinkled thick bands of more silk, and finished with huge shirred silk pom-poms on top! As said, a hat to die for!!
She has layers of original under garments, including those tiny pantaloons that we all covet that tie with the original thin ties, high pink silk stockings, and gorgeous French leather shoes with the original silver balls on both shoes all accounted for, with large fully intact silk rosettes. And she is, of course, on her original fully jointed composition body.
This pair of size "1" Paris Bebe's placed together is beyond show-stopping!!
