Positively Gorgeous Size One Tete Jumeau
Even amongst the category of dolls we call "rare", there are those that are standouts. Just because a doll is rare, doesn't mean it's a fantastic example, just that it is not often found. So it's always a treat to find a doll that is not only rare, but totally sublime as well. Such is this spectacular 9" size one French Bebe Jumeau, named Bethany.
She has a marked head and fully jointed composition marked Jumeau body. Closed beautifully colored very full and voluptuous lips, painted in a pale pinkish/mauve then outlined, with sparkling blue GORGEOUS almond shaped BIG paperweight eyes with the BEST eyelashes-----they're long and "fluffy" and just so glamorous! And her eyebrows are pale in color, and beautifully separately painted with fine exact strokes. Her bisque is pale and fabulous and has a "glow" to it, with no kiln specks or defects to detract.
Her ears are of course pierced, and she wear her original earrings, with her original cork pate, INCREDIBLE and original long blonde mohair wig. and the MOST phenomenal COMPLETELY ORIGINAL pink silk and lace ensemble strewn with pink silk bows, and her matching confection of the most delicious hat, with MARKED SIZE ONE Jumeau shoes with the original rosettes, and marked with a size one, and the bee symbol. I think that just about does it.
