PHENOMENAL LARGE AND RARE E. HEUBACH 318 MODEL
This is an 18" Ernst Heubach googlie mold number 318. She is on a fully jointed composition excellent condition toddler body which is beautifully modeled of wonderful heavy substantial construction with loose balls at the elbows and knees.
She has gorgeous pale bisque with delicate blushing and her closed smiling mouth is expertly painted in pale beautiful tones. Her nose is but a 'button" as they say, adding to her total impish and delightful presence. She has HUGE blue glass perfectly round eyes, with the sparse use of fringed lashes painted in such a way to further build on the artist's perception of her unique look, unlike any other mold. So her eyebrows as well, two-toned and multi-stroked are placed high above her eyes, now adding another layer to her personality of a quizzical nature. The very shape of her head, SO round, is the essence of true innocence and joy personified.
She has her original pate and marvelous pale blonde long, thick, mohair wig with cheeky bangs! She wears her original superb sailor type ensemble, consisting of a sleeveless dress and glorious double brass button, (all original) long-sleeved jacket matching red woven socks and white leather character shoes, (incredibly with red color matching soles), and Mary-Jane strap detailing with the original snaps intact as well! And yes, she has her original underwear. I added her divine red straw hat with silk lining and lavish large silk flowers that completes her outfit to the max!
