UNIQUELY MAGNIFICENT EARLY STEINER
This 10" diminutive Steiner, VERY early "round" faced head incised with Steiner earliest size marking system of size number "3/o", is absolutely breath taking. For starters she has the most incredible hypnotic spiral threaded. almond shaped paperweight eyes you will ever see on ANY French bebe! They have an almost "velvet" look, that's how dreamy and yet spectacularly vibrant they are, and the color, although some shade of blue, remarkably has shades of purple running through them as well. They are heavily lined, with a touch of palest pink blush to further enhancw them, and have perfectly painted long plush lashes above and below.
Her bisque is EXTREMELY pale and translucent as one desires but rarely sees, with just the palest use of blushing to her cheeks, and ears. She wears her original sheep skin wig, has pierced ears and wears her original amethyst earrings, matching her glorious velvet jacket and tres chic and sensational French picture straw hat embellished with silk flowers, ribbons, and lace.
She has a closed mouth, beautifully outlined and painted in the softest combination shades of pink and pale mauve, exquisite. She is on a straight wrist early loose ball body in excellent condition.
Her ensemble is fantastic, including layers of original underthings, amazingly matching violet colored stockings, and gorgeous tiny French shoes. This doll is absolutely superlative in every way., and there is NO collection, she would not be graced by her presence.
